Before Pesach, Bris Avrohom and Congregation Adath Israel held a joint model matzah bakery at the Bris Avrohom Center, 910 Salem Avenue, Hillside. The children learned about the laws of making matzah, were able to prepare their own matzah and did some Pesach arts and crafts. Public officials from the surrounding communities joined the event and presented Bris Avrohom with a Joint Legislative Resolution and Proclamation for the holiday of Pesach.

The event was organized by Rabbi Avremy Kanelsky, Torah education and youth director, Bris Avrohom, and Shayna and Raphael Karlin, Cong. Adas Israel.
