(Courtesy of Bris Avrohom) The Bat Mitzvah club at Bris Avrohom is conducted by Chaya Kanelsky to prepare 11-year-old girls for their upcoming bat mitzvah. The girls learn about their inner beauty, pride and the responsibility of becoming bat mitzvah through creative projects, interactive games, snacks and conversation. They are regaled with stories of the sages and foremothers, and pillars of Yiddishkeit, while being prepared to one day become an Akeret Habayit.
