


(Courtesy of Bris Avrohom) A Lag B’Omer family barbecue in honor of the holy day of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai was held at on the front lawn of Bris Avrohom, organized by Rabbi Avremy and Chaya Kanelsky (youth and Torah education directors of Bris Avrohom), alongside Mr. Levi and Rivki Kumer.
Parents and children enjoyed games of archery tag and hover ball; a delicious barbecue provided by Avenue Grill accompanied by marshmallow roasting by a bonfire; and tours of a Hatzalah ambulance and the Hillside Fire Department truck, where they received souvenirs from the firemen.
The program concluded with the children reciting the 12 pesukim. as instructed by the Lubavitcher Rebbe that children should recite these specific 12 Psalms at gatherings.
