On Sunday, 100 women gathered at Cong. Shomrei Torah Ohel Yosef Yitzchok Bris Avrohom Center to commemorate the 14th yahrzeit of Bat Sheva Kanelsky, ob”m, daughter of Rabbi Mordechai and Rebbetzin Shterney Kanelsky. Rabbi Kanelsky spoke about the tremendous influence Bat Sheva had on countless others who did and continue to do mitzvahs in her merit. Mrs. Kanelsky composed a song in her memory about yearning for the ultimate resurrection with the coming of Moshiach, when all would be united with her.
In the spirit of Adar the women were entertained with a concert performed by internationally acclaimed Israeli composer and singer Zlata Razdolina and her band. They were treated with a lavish buffet brunch topped off with fabulous desserts.
