On Monday, September 11, the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey had a ceremony to commemorate the terrorist attacks on this tragic date 16 years ago. Diane Papaianni, general manager of Newark International Liberty called for a moment of silence to honor those who perished and to remember the past and encouraged everyone to hope for the future. Rabbi Mordechai Kanelsky, executive director, Bris Avrohom of Hillside, New Jersey, offered a prayer for all who succumbed to these attacks and also inspired everyone with a message for the new year and wished them a happy, healthy and sweet new year.
