(Courtesy of Bris Avrohom) The Bas Mitzvah Club at Bris Avrohom is run by Chaya Kanelsky and is exclusively for girls ages 11-13. The girls meet once a month and Mrs. Kanelsky teaches them about the inner beauty of a woman, their future as a role model of her family, and how to prepare for the special age when they are obligated to fulfill all the mitzvot. In addition to the educational aspect, the girls enjoy making arts and crafts and filling in their Monthly Mitzvah Missions to complete their charm bracelets. They then enjoy dinner together.
