(Courtesy of Bris Avrohom) Upon completing the 42nd study cycle of the Rambam, initiated by the Rebbe in 1984, Rabbi Mordechai Kanelsky made a siyum. At the ceremony he went on to begin the 43rd cycle and encouraged all to participate in this rewarding initiative according to their ability. One can study the daily Sefer Hamitzvos or opt for a more thorough study plan of one or three chapters daily. This occasion was celebrated with a Kinus Torah delivered by Berel Lavner, Mordy Kurtz and Rabbi Avremy Kanelsky, along with a community sponsored dinner.
