(Courtesy of Bris Avrohom) On Sunday, March 3, Shifra and Puah of NJ held their annual fundraiser brunch and Chinese auction at the Bris Avrohom Center in Hillside. The organization is led by Rochel Bushman and Shayna Cohen and celebrated four successful years since its establishment in 2020.
Shifra and Puah of NJ supports postpartum mothers both physically and mentally. They deliver a week of wholesome nourishing breakfasts, offer customized gift certificates for mom’s recovery, and provide weekly chesed hours, all free of charge. The organization has come to the aid of dozens of new mothers and has eased their recovery.
Rebbetzin Shterney Kanelsky recited two perakim of Tehillim for the soldiers in Israel.
A highlight of the event was the raffling off of a dime from the Rebbe, donated anonymously. The dime was designed into a beautiful necklace by Tzfasman Jewelry. The Rebbe’s dimes are coveted as a segula for children.
