(Courtesy of Bris Avrohom) Thirty-nine years have passed since the Lubavitcher Rebbe introduced the learning of the three daily chapters from Sefer Ha-Rambam.

Bris Avrohom celebrated this momentous occasion with a farbrengen that was held in an open tent. Rabbi Mordechai Kanelsky concluded the last chapter of Rambam and commenced anew with the first chapter of the 40th-year cycle. Rabbi Kanelsky shared the importance of studying Rambam daily and that if anyone is unable to learn three chapters daily, they can participate by studying the Rambam’s Sefer Hamitzvos instead. The study of the Rambam is worldwide, with hundreds of thousands of participants daily.

The Lubavitcher Rebbe taught and encouraged every one of us that through the unity of all Yidden learning and studying together, such an achievement will bring about the great revelation we are all waiting for: the coming of Moshiach Tzidkeinu, speedily in our days.
