Bris Avrohom of Fair Lawn will be hosting its Second Annual Community Gala on January 24, which will celebrate the Jewish-Russian Community of Northern New Jersey. At this year’s gala we will be highlighting young Jewish life in our community, and will do so through the examples set by Eva Yagyaev (Allendale), Sarah Shevchuk (Fair Lawn), Jeffrey Rotenberg (Fair Lawn), and Sophie Sklyar (Ridgewood). Each of these young men and women serve as role models for community involvement from a young age.

Bris Avrohom of Fair Lawn serves a large community of thousands of families throughout Northern New Jersey. Located in the heart of Bergen County, this warm and inviting center attracts members from a large range of Jewish backgrounds and affiliations. Its programs cater to the entire age spectrum, from the Holidays with Mommy & Me program to Hebrew School, the JTeen Club and the Women’s Circle events, and Torah and Kabbalah classes for adults. Other programs include daily, Shabbat, and holiday services, bar and bat mitzvah classes, family-friendly holiday events, and the highly acclaimed Fair Lawn Jewish Day Camp that attracts more than 375 children each year from over 30 towns in Northern New Jersey.
