(Courtesy of Bris Avrohom) Bris Avrohom began Pesach preparation by baking over 1,500 pounds of matzah at Boro Park Shmurah Matzah Bakery in Brooklyn. For the past 45 years, the rabbis of Bris Avrohom have been baking matzah and distributing them or selling them for cost price for families who can benefit from a discounted rate.

In addition, Bris Avrohom bought 2,000 boxes of matzah from Israel to distribute to all people who have any connection to the organization. In Kabbalah it is written that eating shmura matzah on the first night of Passover instills in a belief in God and eating it on the second night of Passover provides health and healing.

Thousands of Pesach brochures were printed and mailed in both Russian and English containing all the information pertaining to the holiday. Moreover, Bris Avrohom sponsored matzah which will be distributed to hundreds of soldiers in Chevron and at other army bases. Bris Avrohom will also co-sponsor two Sedarim in the Ukrainian cities Zhytomyr and Zaparosnia.
