Brooklyn Cyclones to Hold Annual Jewish Heritage Night

The Brooklyn Cyclones annual Jewish Heritage Night will be held on Thursday, August 24, at 7:00pm in MCU Park in Coney Island, New York. An affiliate of the New York Mets, the Cyclones will be playing the Hudson Valley Renegades, an affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays, who had their Jewish Heritage Day this past Sunday. The game might feature some of the Mets on rehab assignments, like Matt Harvey, who pitched for the Cyclones this past weekend.

Jeremy Wolf, a pitcher for the Cyclones, is Jewish, as is Steve Cohen, vice president.

Glatt kosher hot dogs and food will be available and many Jewish-themed activities will be held at the park. Hebrew Brooklyn Cyclones caps and shirts will be on hand. MCU Park does not have a bad seat, so come cheer on the Cyclones with family and friends.

Tickets prices are very reasonable. For more information and to order tickets, go to Brooklyncyclones.com or JCRCny.org.

The Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater New York is one of the sponsors of the game.
