The Bruriah Lightning recently traveled to Queens to play the Shalhevet Sabres.

Shalhevet led at the end of the first quarter and for a short time in the second quarter before Bruriah turned up its offense and defense. Avigayil Wiener led the offense with fast breaks and sharp passes while Shayna Schwartz and Shayna Rozensweig led the defense with numerous blocks.

Bruriah outscored Shalhevet in the third and fourth quarters, winning by a score of 38-20.
