Bruriah’s new school year heralded tremendous excitement, warmth and positivity, as students eagerly looked forward to reuniting with old friends, making new ones and connecting with their beloved teachers.

The first to arrive were the freshmen, Bruriah’s Class of 2028, who were warmly welcomed on Tuesday for their first day as Bruriah students. They familiarized themselves with the Bruriah campus with an interactive scavenger hunt, followed by fun Bruriah hat decorating and a CandyLand-themed treat bar where they got to know their new classmates and teachers.

On Wednesday, the energy was electric as all students and faculty arrived to start the 2024-2025 school year! After a beautiful Rosh Chodesh davening led by the seniors, students ushered in the school year with a delicious breakfast spread including iced coffee, parfaits, waffles, pancakes and more. Students then had the opportunity to meet their grade advisors, the entire guidance department, and the administration, ensuring that they will be fully supported throughout their entire high school journey. The fun continued in the Bruriah gym where students enjoyed racing pedal carts and meeting this year’s amazing G.O. who distributed Bruriah swag.

Everyone is looking forward to enjoying another banner year of joyful learning, meaningful relationships, personal growth and nurturing self-confidence within every student at Bruriah!
