Bruriah and JEC Faculty Receive CPR Training

In anticipation of the upcoming school year, The JEC and Bruriah was proud to present its faculty with the opportunity to become certified in CPR and First Aid. As an institution that prioritizes the physical safety of all those across the JEC campuses, this course was offered free of charge to all JEC Lower School, JEC High School and Bruriah faculty. The course was taught by Bruriah’s Chris Tucker and attended by 20 faculty members from across the JEC divisions.

This event was spearheaded by Director of Faculty Learning Dr. Shira Hammerman, who stresses that “While the professional development that we provide to JEC and Bruriah teachers covers a wide variety of topics, skills and pedagogies, this CPR training stands out as particularly important because it empowers our teachers to take action to preserve the safety of our students when faced with an emergency situation.”
