Bruriah Competes In Poetry Out Loud

Poetry Out Loud is a poetry recitation competition that starts at the classroom level and advances to the national level. Each class at Bruriah held a competition, and once the class winners competed within their grade, the winner from each grade competed against one another. Bruriah students were privileged to hear from students Shana Kelner ‘24, Meira Hauptman ‘23, Leora Goldstein ‘22, and Raizel Fine ‘21. Leora shared that “taking part in the Poetry Out Loud competition is an amazing opportunity for me and for other girls at Bruriah to show their passion for poetry and performing!” Congratulations to Raizel on winning the school competition. We all Raizel the best of luck at the state competition.

Shira Pfeiffer is a junior at Bruriah; She is from Bergen County.
