Bruriah’s Chair of the English Department Margueya Poupko’s nomination for the 2019 Jerry Gottesman Award for Pursuit of Teaching Excellence has been accepted. Poupko was chosen based on her unwavering commitment to expanding her own professional knowledge, as well as that of her colleagues, making her an excellent choice for this fellowship. The award will be announced at the final colloquium of the upcoming Quest for Teaching Excellence Conference.
Poupko expressed that she is “honored and excited to take part in this initiative. The opportunity to contribute and grow from a collaborative experience is crucial to the development of every educator as well as their institutions. I look forward to sharing ideas and taking that inspiration back into my classroom.” Bruriah values its partnership in this unique celebration of Greater MetroWest NJ teachers.
