The freshmen at Bruriah enjoyed a most uplifting chesed trip. They had a morning yom iyun, which explained the importance of chesed in our lives. After, the girls boarded the bus and went to Passaic to explore different chesed opportunities: Yad Leah—where they sorted and packed clothing for needy families in Israel, Daughters of Miriam—a nursing home, and Tomchei Shabbos. Students concluded the day with a delicious dinner and formal training in medical clowning! Student lives were enhanced through this packed day of chesed.
