The Bruriah ninth graders had a busy day last Tuesday visiting various chesed institutions in the Monsey community. They made stops at Chesed 24/7, Tomchei Shabbos and Yad Leah where they were given a tour of each organization and spent some time at each location volunteering. After several hours of chesed, the girls headed to the American Dream Mall for a fun scavenger hunt. This trip enabled the students to witness firsthand the tremendous amounts of chesed that is done in the Jewish community, and they walked away inspired and motivated to give back.
