Bruriah sophomores had an amazing program, run by their grade coordinator, Mrs. Rivky Schwartz. During the program, they customized sweatshirts using transfer paper and iron machines. There were many designs to choose from and every student designed their own unique shirt. “The program was a great bonding experience because we all got to just talk and have fun,” shared Chaya Bernhaut, a 10th grade participant. At the end of the program, students enjoyed delicious Krispy Kreme doughnuts. The sweatshirts came out amazing and every sophomore wore their design with pride!
The freshmen also enjoyed an amazing program about friendship, organized by their grade advisor, Mrs.Tzipporah Friedenberg. The program started with a panel of teachers answering friendship-related questions, previously submitted by the girls, focusing on what it means to build lasting relationships. They enjoyed a delicious snack of cookies and coffee afterwards, followed by a video on friendship. The students were split into groups to for a workshop that focused on determining which qualities to look for in a real friend. The freshmen received personalized stickers with the acronym, “BFFRL—Be Friends For Real Life” and enjoyed wearing them to show how they had a fantastic time bonding with their grade and learning from their teachers!
