Bruriah High School Town Hall Meeting Invites Students To Connect With Incoming Principal, Esther Eisenman

Mrs. Esther Eisenman, Bruriah’s incoming principal, held three town hall Zoom meetings with current Bruriah Students at the end of June to invite dialogue between students and their new educational leader. Despite the social distancing requirement, Mrs. Eisenman wanted to hear from her student body and give them an opportunity to share some of their favorite parts of the Bruriah High School experience and their visions for a bright future. Leora Goldstein, an incoming 11th grade student and member of Bruriah’s student leadership organization G.O., expressed how she enjoyed connecting with the incoming principal and sharing with her what makes Bruriah special. After the town hall meeting, Goldstein shared how she felt that Mrs. Eisenman was already a part of the Bruriah family.

Eisenman is deeply committed to understanding the voices of Bruriah’s student body and designed this program to set the year up for success through empowering each participant to safely share their opinions and feedback. Armed with a better understanding after these meetings, Eisenman anticipates a productive and meaningful 2020-2021 school year.
