The halls of Bruriah were buzzing with more activity than usual, which meant that the school must have been in the throes of the Mother-Daughter Annual Musical Production. The spirit of the annual production is the creation of Mrs. Chaya Newman a”h, who was the principal of Bruriah for 37 years. Under the direction of Mrs. Aliza Blumenthal, Director of Student Life, the production’s success has grown to include 300 of the 340 students in Bruriah, 270 of whom perform in front of an audience of 500.

The show featured student musicians, singers, actors, dancers, stompers and 30 who manage the stage, lighting, costumes, scenery, sound and technology. In addition to magical performances by the students, the event included a cheesecake buffet and Chinese Auction.
