On Tuesday, Bruriah students enjoyed a powerful Yom Iyun which explored the topic of “Who Do You Think You Are?” This Yom Iyun was designed to encourage students to reflect on which of their qualities best defines them, and how to express that authentically in their lives. It was with this question in mind that students were introduced to renowned speaker Mrs. Tehilla Bollag who discussed her path towards converting to Judaism, the ultimate discovery of her true self. Mrs. Bollag inspired Bruriah students to tap into the most authentic parts of themselves, to recognize how lucky they are to be able to express themselves through their avodas Hashem, and to never take it for granted. Our students left feeling inspired and uplifted as they headed into the school Shabbaton.
