Bruriah JH Hunts For Clues on Fun Day Out

The Bruriah JHB enjoyed spending time with friends and teachers in a relaxed and fun way. The first stop of their day out was to IKEA, where the girls worked in groups to complete a photo scavenger hunt. From “This must mean Harry Potter was here” to “I missed the bus so….” the girls were very creative with their pictures. Every group received five dollars to purchase something special for the junior high. The next stop was to Conant Park, where a combination of great weather, fun sports and lunch made the experience so perfect. Maital Kimmel, of Hillside, loved IKEA “because it was really fun to try out all the furniture.” Tali Isaacs, of Elizabeth, enjoyed “playing ball in the park.” Getting slurpees was a great ending to an incredible day. Zehava Greenwald, junior high assistant principal, observed, “One of the most amazing aspects of this trip is that the teachers spend time getting to know the students out of the classroom. These opportunities help strengthen the student-teacher relationship, which is an essential factor in successful education.”
