Bruriah juniors enjoyed an amazing challah bake program this past week, led by Grade Coordinator Mrs. Amy Tropp. The girls were given customized aprons and individually- packaged ingredients. While waiting for their yeast to proof, the 11th graders were privileged to hear from 12th-grade teacher and world-renowned speaker, Mrs. Yael Kaisman. Mrs. Kaisman spoke about how to make Shabbos more meaningful by sharing powerful words from Rabbi Meir Schuster and Rabbi Ephraim Buchwald. The girls then formed their challahs and were invited to give their second challah to someone in need. As the program came to an end, the participants enjoyed an impromptu physically-distant dance party. The amazing Bruriah spirit and high energy was felt in the dance party and the program was an inspiring, bonding experience for all!
