Lightning BB1 really showed its support and teamwork in its home game vs. Ilan. With starter Sarena Wiederkehr (‘18) and sixth man Aliza Kurtz (‘18, out of commission for various injuries (we wish them a speedy refuah sheleimah), the team had to step up to fill their spots. Avital Wiener (‘19) started instead of Wiederkehr. BB1 started off a little bit shaky and was up by only a couple of points in the first few minutes. Then, with the help of some amazing fast breaks, Bruriah pulled ahead and never looked back. Every player had some playing time (except for the injured ones), and the passing, rebounding and fast breaks were really stellar to help Bruriah seal the 54-20 win.
