When the Bruriah Lightning hosted the Shalhevet Sabres, both teams entered the game tied with an identical record of 2-2. The Lightning then continued the solid playing that they exhibited in their win over Sha’are Torah.
They started the game strong, putting pressure on defense and lighting up the court on offense. Avigayil Wiener led the team in fast break points, stealing the ball numerous times and going in for the layup. The game also gave Bruriah the chance to debut their full court press, which they have been perfecting in practice for many weeks. They were able to stop the ball many times and Coach Rifkin was very pleased with the success of the press.
Bruriah held its ground, winning the game 36-16.
