During the annual yom iyun on Chanukah, the students at Bruriah Middle School focused on the concept of השגחה פרטית. Yael Cohen, a junior at Bruriah High School, shared her thoughts on the important lesson of השגחה פרטית. She reminded us that although Hashem is hidden from us, we can always see Him while looking through our השגחה פרטית lens. She encouraged everyone to use the light of the menorah as a reminder to look into our own lives and see all the “light” we have. To reinforce this idea we decorated a bulletin board in the Middle School hallway. Students have been adding Post-it notes which include small miracles they recognize daily. This board will surely be filled very soon!
