Back in November on the anniversary of Kristallnacht, Bruriah Middle School had the privilege of participating in “The Daffodil Project” in cooperation with the Jewish Federation of Greater Metrowest NJ’s Center for Volunteerism and Holocaust Council. The goal of the project is to plant 1.5 million daffodils in memory of the 1.5 million children who perished in the Holocaust. Now, as spring is upon us, the daffodils students planted in Bruriah’s Holocaust Garden have bloomed! Everyone is grateful for the addition of beautiful flowers in the garden, as well as for the opportunity to have participated in such a beautiful, commemorative, cause.
