Bruriah middle school kicked off an exciting new year! As part of an ongoing project to help students forge new, lasting, friendships and relationships, the focus this year will be “connections.” Each month a different area of connection will be cultivated among the students.

In a wonderful program led by Mrs. Yael Bleicher, director of student life, and Mrs. Emma Katz, middle school activities director, students focused on the theme “Be a Link in the Chain,” specifically the focus for Tishrei which is “Connecting to Ourselves.” Students had a great time getting to connect to each other, through the “human knot” and “yarn web” activities.

Mrs. Aviva Wercberger, middle school principal, shared that “Through the theme of connections we look forward to seeing our students grow into their best selves in their spiritual and personal relationships.”
