Masks may be blocking germs, but they couldn’t block the glow and excitement of students and teachers as Bruriah Middle School began on August 31! The hallways which are bursting with Middle School colors and “Bruriah Bright” design match the upbeat atmosphere of learning and friendship. During the first few days of school, students focused on reconnecting with friends and teachers, setting up lockers and reviewing procedures. The girls decorated pencil cases and played a fun “Get to Know Your Teachers” game. Everyone is looking forward to a great year ahead. As Aviva Strauss, eighth grader from West Orange shared, “Even though our faces are halved, our motivation for learning is doubled!”
