The eighth graders at Bruriah learned a valuable lesson about hard work and determination. Under the guidance of Leora Reichenberg, English teacher, the students participated in the Law Adventure program sponsored by the New Jersey State Bar Foundation (NJSBF). This contest, which is the middle school equivalent of Mock Trial, requires students to learn about the court system, examine different types of court cases and create a case based on a topic chosen by the NJSBF. The students worked on their case for a few months and out of the 122 entries received, Bruriah’s eighth graders won second place!
