Bruriah Middle School returned to school last week, excited and invigorated for a new year! Orientation began with a beautiful davening followed by a welcome by Dr. Strulowitz, who energized the students for the exciting year ahead. Further fueled by a delicious breakfast, the students got busy crafting and creating their very own Bruriah Middle School tie-dye T-shirts! Baila Weisberger, director of Middle School Programming, explained how this process can teach us all an important lesson. It starts out as a simple white T-shirt. Then it gets twisted, tied and wrapped… and only after the dye is set do can the beautiful colors be seen! Even if students are challenged, and feel like they are being pulled and stretched, they can see the beauty at the end of the process. Everyone is looking forward to another beautiful year at Bruriah Middle School!
