Bruriah Middle School’s Torah Bowl team is headed to the championships! After a very competitive season filled with hours of studying and teamwork, the Bruriah Middle School team was victorious in the playoffs against Ashar, Hillel Yeshiva, YCQ, Yeshivah of Flatbush, Silverstein Hebrew Academy and Mazel Day School. Congratulations to the Torah Bowl team members: Emunah Feuerstein,Ruthie Fleisher, Daniella Gluck, Nechama Goldman, Bella Greenberg, Ayelet Horowitz, Dalya Horowitz, Tali Lasker, Esther Mayefsky, Yehudis Muller, Shoshana Pinsker, Ayelet Sapieka, Sarah Schechter, Abby Yablon and Ella Yablon. Bruriah Middle School is a proud participant in Torah Bowl, under the leadership of Rabbi Mair Wolofsky, the developer and coordinator of the Metropolitan Torah Bowl League since 1995. Over the past 28 years, thousands of participating yeshiva students have studied Chumash and Rashi on all five seforim to a competitive level. Torah Bowl is open to junior high and high school yeshiva students with separate divisions for boys and girls in the New York, New Jersey metropolitan area.
