Communicate and Elevate was the theme of Bruriah Middle School’s Aseret Yemei Teshuva yom iyun. A special introduction to the program was led by Principal Rabbi Joseph Oratz who shared a meaningful song while playing guitar. The students explored the concepts of communication with Hashem and communication with people. An array of activities, experiments, group discussions and role playing helped bring important lessons to life. Zehava Greenwald, assistant principal of Bruriah Middle School, shared her thoughts after the yom iyun: “It was great to see all the students so involved and participating in the activities at this yom iyun. All the teachers commented how enjoyable it was to spend time together with the girls learning and exploring the topic of communication.”
