Sixth graders at Bruriah Middle School are developing new skills and language to help them navigate the middle school world. As part of a new social-emotional programming, teachers and students learned the language of our new initiative: BMS. In addition to being the abbreviation for the school, BMS is the guide for student’s healthy approach to the social and emotional world of middle school. Students are being guided to be their B-best self with M-midos extraordinaire, while ensuring that they remain S-supportive friends at all times.

Through bracelet making, signing, games and meaningful discussions, BMS students are on an incredible journey through middle school!
