During the Bruriah Middle School STEM program, sixth graders used various everyday items to create a protective shell for a raw egg. After conducting research, the teams worked hard to establish an appropriate cushion. The best part of the program came after the protective shell was created and each item was dropped from a second story window. Watching each group drop their eggs from a second story window was tense. The experiment was truly successful because not a single egg cracked!
