Bruriah Middle School yom iyun was a day to remember. Students spent the morning exploring the topic of tefillah, discussing challenges and solutions and gaining a deeper appreciation for this mitzvah. Guest speaker, Mrs. Schwartz joined the girls for inspirational words and left them with the message that tefillah is a gift. Hands-on centers gave students the opportunity to focus on their choice of tefillah, review and learn new halachot and share strategies for improvement. A choir, delicious danishes, stickers and a personalized bracelet made the day very special. The students are looking forward to entering the new year with a fresh perspective on tefillah and some tools to grow in this area.
