Bruriah Open House Highlights Legendary Past, Exciting Present and Bright Future

“At Bruriah I Can” is the motto of Bruriah High School and this past Sunday’s Open House brought the magic of Bruriah to life for over 300 prospective parents and students.

The opening program featured incredible presentations highlighting the individuality of every Bruriah student and their commitment to excellence and personal growth. Admissions Coordinator Faigy Leiter, Principal Rabbi Joseph Oratz, G.O. President Kayla Goldstein, alumna Aliza Kurtz (‘18) and Senior Halacha Rebbe, Rabbi Chaim Marcus each enthusiastically shared aspects of the Bruriah magic. An authentic and moving student-produced film “At Bruriah I Can” generated profound emotion for all in attendance.

Bruriah’s outstanding faculty presented for parents and engaged prospective students with lively, fun and thought-provoking mini-classes. Guests were welcomed into the Bruriah family and connected with over 100 faculty, parent, student and alumnae ambassadors.

Palpable energy pulsed through the building throughout the Open House. As the day wound down, nearly 50 current students and faculty came together for a spontaneous kumzitz that made the gym sway, proving once again, that the magic of Bruriah can only be found in Bruriah.
