Spending the day together with teachers and classmates on a Chanukah trip was unforgettable for Bruriah’s Junior High (JHB). From ice skating to bowling and everything in between, the day was one that all of JHB will remember. The S.O. student government had surprises in store—from adult coloring pages to a scavenger hunt and fun cartoons—that kept everyone smiling. Playing games or schmoozing with teachers in the newly remodeled recreation facility at Warinanco Park was definitely a highlight. Zehava Greenwald, assistant principal of JHB said, “It’s such a wonderful thing to spend time with students out of the classroom, getting to know them better, and watching them interact with their peers.”
