The Bruriah Torah Bowl Team has long been one of the mainstays on Bruriah’s list of outstanding academic teams. Year after year, the team attracts an incredible group of serious, motivated students who commit themselves to hours of hard work and Torah studies on top of their existing schoolwork. This year is no exception; the Bruriah Torah Bowl team members have impressed once again with their vast Torah knowledge and dedication as they went on to win last week’s competition against Naaleh and Kushner.
Team captains junior Esti Hess and senior Elana Pascher further marveled at the dedication of the team: “It’s really amazing to see how the whole team really wants to study Torah. Some even take on extra parshiyot, completely by choice!” Amy Tropp, coach of the Bruriah team, took note of how seamlessly the team worked together to win, as well as of the good midos and achdus that permeated the inter-school competition. The team looks forward to furthering the camaraderie that Torah Bowl enables them to have both within and outside the school, as well as the wealth of Torah knowledge that will be invaluable to the students for years to come!
