Linking Northern and Central NJ, Bronx, Manhattan, Westchester and CT

A terrific thing has happened to West Orange! A yeshiva has opened on the premises of Congregation Zichron David, on Buckingham Drive. After Ma’ariv on the night of the yeshiva’s opening, I gave the following short speech: Rashi in Parshas Vayeitzei says that when Yaakov left Be’er Sheva it made a big dent, because when a tzadik comes to a city, he brings shine, glory and beauty. Conversely, when a tzadik leaves a city, these great things also leave. A yeshiva coming to West Orange brings shine, glory and beauty to West Orange and nearby Livingston.

May the yeshiva be successful and may we merit to appreciate it.
