As the class passed around a pumpkin for everyone to hold, they observed that it was very heavy and that it was orange and round. The children helped pull it apart to see what was inside and felt the stringy pumpkin flesh and lots of big seeds. After that they roasted and tasted the pumpkin seeds, enjoyed a pumpkin sensory bin and even painted a pumpkin.
