The children at the Iris Berman Early Childhood Center at Suburban Torah in Livingston learned that flour is made from real stalks of wheat.
They broke open a stalk of wheat to see the seeds inside and then were excited to make their own matzah by mixing flour and water with their own hands. Afterwards the yeladim enjoyed a taste test between the store-bought matzah which they described as crunchier and the home-made which they described as softer.
