It’s hard to believe that this was the final full week of the first session— and what a week it was!
After weeks of training, many Malchus division campers ran a 5K this week. The Simon Sez show on Sunday evening was amazing, as was the trip to Aquatopia. Since this is an election year, CDG held in-camp mock elections for camp president.
Color war was incredible! Campers competed in divisional gelly ball, staff softball game, the amazing grand plays, camp wide Apache race, bucket brigade, balloon hop, Torah Bowl learning group, sports combine and of course the Grand Sing. After the introductions of the lieutenants, captains and generals, everyone sat back to watch the, always hysterical, judges entrance, a skit put on by the administration. That was followed by the song presentation, entertaining comedy skits, and stunning banners. Then it all came down to the alma mater. The heartfelt and emotional singing was beautiful and the emotion was palpable.
It’s unbelievable how much happens in camp every single day!
