On Sunday morning Camp Dora Golding welcomed the three-day program while singing the camp’s old classic, “It’s the three-day, three-day program, they came to check out CDG…” They got a taste of all the great activities and amenities we enjoy throughout the summer.

Division Day 2023 was rocking. Malchus and CITs went rafting down the Lehigh River on Monday. Silent DJ was a real hit, especially with all the lights out in the gym.

Camp celebrated a very special milestone this week. As a way to boost tzitzis awareness and pride, a chart was filled out for every camper wearing tzitzis. It’s part of the Do it Like Donny program, in memory of dear friend, Donny Morris z”l. This week campers completed the 3,168 squares on the chart. The whole camp celebrated with Italian ices after Maariv. More important than the ices, the hope is that the inspiration of the program will remain with everyone involved.

The week ended with the beloved CDG Got Talent on Thursday evening. It was so much fun watching fellow campers sing, ride a unicycle, lip sync, solve a Rubik’s Cube in limited time, perform magic tricks, play music and more.

With just a few days left to camp it’s hard to imagine that any more fun can be crammed in to the time remaining. But cram it will.
