With only a little more than five weeks left until camp begins (June 28) the YM-YWHA of Union County is quickly filling up. With total capacity of 500 children (ages 3–15) spanning over nine divisions, there are limited spaces left. The programs are Jewish-oriented, ranging from the observant divisions to the Israeli divisions. Swimming, sports, crafts, music, drama and dance, yoga, Jewish learning, Israeli culture, cooking, nature and trips are just some of the daily activities. With gorgeous, fenced-in, secure campgrounds, campers enjoy picnic-like lunch and snack areas; two ga-ga courts; a fire pit; an indoor and outdoor pool and basketball, tetherball and softball fields, as well as safe tented areas. Catered lunch is included on all non-trip days. A bus is available in selected areas and early and late camp options are available as well. State licensed, the camp has Color War programs, Maccabiah, concerts, shows and in-house entertainers. Campers can register for the full eight weeks (June 28–Aug. 19) or four weeks. Y Family Membership is included in all price quotes. Limited scholarships are available. For more information call 908-289-8112 or access our website at www.unionycamps.org.
The camp is located at 501 Green Lane in Union.
