Camp KCP enjoyed a special visit from a petting zoo recently! The yeladim loved petting goats, sheep and an alpaca named Leroy! The kids also had rides on an adorable pony! The Camp KCP hens were excited to welcome new friends for the day. The day’s crafts were all about animals too! The children sponge-painted a fluffy sheep, painted a pig with “mud” and constructed a barn out of craft sticks. They sang “Old MacDonald,” “The Cows in the Barn” and “Hop Little Bunnies” each day during the special morning lineup when everyone cheered and davened together. For the weekly dress up day, everyone wore red, white and blue to celebrate July 4 and enjoyed a camp parade. Lastly, the summer week always ends with a special Shabbat train ride with conductor Morah Elana, on the new KCP Express Train!
