Although the Summer of Fun at Camp Shalom has come to a close, the last days of camp made for the most thrilling week yet! The excitement began with holding a snake in nature, shaving cream fun with balloons, DIY bubbles, clay mosaics, cupcake ice cream cone art and many other creative projects. The boys travel bunk, hiked through Bear Mountain and enjoyed a competitive game at Topgolf. The girls travel bunk painted the beautiful garden views at Wave Hill and crossed the river again to see the animals at the Bronx Zoo. Rishon camper’s imagination shined while making pizza art, ballet and movement, making mud pies, spray paint art, baking challah and throwing water balloons. The highlight of the camp spirit shined at Camp Shalom Spirit day! No doubt summer 2021 was the best summer yet! Campers are sad the summer of 2021 is coming to an end, but they’re also overjoyed by the incredible memories of the safe and happy summer at Camp Shalom!
