Can Iran Sustain a Long-Term War Against Israel?

Well, the answer is that Iran has around 3,000 ballistic missiles: 350 of them were launched from Iran on April 13, which cannot be sustained for many days longer.

First, we have to take a look at how this would unfold if Israel took out Iran’s nuclear program. We would probably then see thousands of missiles coming out of Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Iran and Yemen. The whole Ring of Fire would immediately be ignited into a full-blown regional war.

In this case we have two options left. The first option is that thousands of missiles from various countries in the Middle East would be pouring into Israel. The second option is that because of the joint resistance against Israel, Israel will proceed to go into an offensive strategy to strike Hezbollah and other terrorist organizations.

Iran’s promised response all along was delayed a lot due to the fear that they would fail again. Also it would give Israel a reason to go on the offensive and strike Iranian targets such as their oil refineries, because there exists a strike group in the Persian Gulf. If Iran attacked Israel it would deplete their ballistic missile arsenal.

In conclusion, even Iran knows this is true, with the IRGC founder admitting, “Iran is unable to sustain long-term war with Israel.”
